Sinartis  delivers  Software for image acquisition and processing manly in three ways: application software, libraries, or examples in source code starting by which the customer can build its own application.

Application software

This is a custom-made executable file that Sinartis develop for users starting from a general purpose  file  SinDemo.EXE. This includes the main image acquisition and processing  functions and the serial communications towards external devices. 

Source code examples (VisualC/C++) 

It is the SinSample.CPP file, included inside the SinGrabber.LIB. base acquisition software libraries  that are delivered with the Sincapt frame grabbers. The customer can access the image at the single pixel gray scale value, can develop its own algorithms and applications.

Libraries 

SinImage.LIB are software libraries of advanced image processing algorithms that the customer can  access by function calling from its main program.

SinImage.LIB includes:

Real time image acquisition and display.

Acquisition parameters control (contrast, brightness, channels selection etc.).

Calibration procedures for dimensional measurements. 

 

Image thresholding and  binarization, enhancement, negative, rotation,are as selection, center of gravity, quad (four images display), zoom etc.

Multi-frames averaging. 

Measurements on images (point to point distance, radius, area, annular ring  etc.).

Blob analysis.

Coordinates transformation (polar, axes roto-translation etc.).

 

Image filtering (kernel based averaging, edge detection etc.). 

Statistics: histograms, maximum and minim, standard deviation etc). 

Threshold automatic and manual setting.

Target finding by pattern matching based algorithms.

Images and measurements  archiving and printing.

Read and write of  EEPROM memory (on board for Sincapt II frame grabbers). 

Sinartis image processing software requires  acquisition boards  Sincapt II.
