Hdot 01
is video server for the coding of analog video signals with PAL/NTSC
standard, for the transmission over LAN with IP protocols and for the
decoding of streamed video to analog video.
Design and manufactured by Sinartis,
Hdot 01
is a video codec (encoder/decoder) using H.264, MPEG4 and H.263
compression standards and in addition, it is able to transmit JPEG still
images at a pre-set rate.
The
compressions standards, frame resolutions and bit rates (VBR or CBR)
with flux from 32 Kb/s to 5 Mb/s are very easy selectable by a web page
interface.
The video
resolutions are ranging from Full D1 (720x576 pixels) to QCIF
(176x144pixels) up to the maximum frame rate (25 fr/sec PAL or 30fr/sec
per NTSC).
The LAN protocoIs are both RTSP and RTP
(Elementary Stream) both unicast and multicast.
The video/audio streams can be decode
over the LAN by PC servers using programs like VLC media player,
QuickTime player, Mplayer.
Hdot 01
has aslo, as an the option, a USB interface connector for the
connection of external functionality (for example a recording Hard Disk
or a Wireless connection) and in addition the capability to record
video streams and JPEG still images over a built in Memory Card socket.
The analog audio input and analog audio
decoded output are both stereo.
When working as a video decoder
Hdot 01 has
in addition to the standard composite video BNC connector, a S-Video
output connector for a best quality analog signal output.
Hdot 01
was design using low consumption electronic components. |
